Development Minister Kapil Sibal on Wednesday skipped the meeting of IIT
Council convened by him to discuss the proposed common entrance test after
opposition from some of the premier engineering institutions.
Sibal, who chairs the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Council, did not turn up for the meeting on Wednesday afternoon, informed sources said.
