1) IIT JEE, AIEEE, & CET examinations were conducted separately
2) 2 Papers - 1 st was Screening (Objective) and 2nd was Mains (Subjective)
3) Class XII marks did not matter
4) Weightage - 100% to JEE papers
NEW JEE PATTERN
1) Common engineering test for students appearing for IIT JEE, AIEEE, and 3 states - CET (Maharashtra), CET (Gujrat) & CET (Haryana)
2) 2 Papers - main & Advanced. Main: Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Advanced: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
3) 50% weightage of class XII marks for IIT, 40 % for others
4) Weightage - 50 % of Mains paper for IIT, 30% of Mains paper and 30% of Advanced paper for others
